My confession

So I rarely get on here anymore because I usually post everything on Facebook. It's so much easier. I am setting a goal to get on here at least once a month and post something for the bloggers to read. Have a great month. I will check in at the end of Sept with some pics to post.

Dalton's Golf Camp 2010

Dalton has the opportunity to take golf camp and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Despite the heat, he eagerly woke up every morning and headed 30 miles West to Canebrake Country club in Oak Grove, MS.
After four days of learning golf etiquette, chipping, putting, and driving techniques, he ended the week with a golf tournament. A friendly competition of chipping, putting, and driving lead to hole 17 for a three hole challenge. Dalton had so much fun...and so did we.
The day ended with a wonderful lunch and awards banquet. Way to go Dalton!

Trenton NEVER ceases to amaze me!

So after coming from playing baseball, Dalton and Trenton were coloring and I was working on the blog. I see Trenton go in the art room and come out with scissors. I didn't think anything about it because I heard him tell his "bro" that he wanted to cut his truck out. Standing right by me, he sticks the scissors to his head and takes a chunk out of his hair. I thought only girls cut their hair. Again, Trenton NEVER ceases to amaze me!

Happy Birthday, Dalton!

My sweet Dalton, where has the time gone. You are such a joy and a pleasure to be around. I love you with all my heart. Dalton was so excited for this day to come. HIS BIRTHDAY!!! We celebrated in style by beginning on Friday with donuts at Krispi Creme, buying new bike helmets, and going to see Marmaduke on Saturday as a family On his actual birthday, we went to church, and he had a date with dad and the golf course. Dalton was so happy.
We ended the day with barbeque and cake.
Dalton lost his top left tooth on his birthday. The right front is barely hanging on.
On Monday, we had a few friends over to finally conclude the birthday celebration.

Egg Hunt in Petal, MS

The boys enjoyed the Petal Easter Egg hunt, despite the wind and rain. They both filled their buckets as full as they could. On the way home they both said, "That was fun!"
This is what Trenton won for finding a GOLDEN Egg. Way to Go Trenton!

Our visit to the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center in Gulf Port, MS

Today we took the boys to a Discovery Museum in Gulf Port, MS, about 1.5 hours South. It was an amazing day. You will see some of the exciting things we did but I only captured about half of the museum on photos. We will go back again real soon.
We had so much fun flying to Mexico, riding a train from Jackson, MS to New Orleans, LA, shopping in the Winn Dixie Grocery Store, crabbing in the Gulf of Mexico, getting our shoes shined, and lastly climbing in tree forts outside. What a great day!

Climbing to the top

This was the kids way to the top of the center. It was a lot of fun winding your way to the top.

Trip to Mexico

Pilot and Co-Pilot flying us to Mexico Our Mariachi band

GET YOUR SHOES SHINED!

Trenton didn't waste any time. In fact, I had to ask to get both shoes shined.
I love the way Dalton just makes his self at home on the bench.

Pull your own body weight

Dalton made it to the top Trenton had a tougher time.

Canoeing in Gulf Port

This was funny. The boys sat in a canoe and it projected the image to make it look like they were going down a river.

Crab fishing

Dalton cast the net and Trenton grabbed the crab.
