Each year we begin by putting up the tree Thanksgiving weekend, decorating the outside of the house with white lights, putting up the family Christmas village, and lastly and most importantly setting up the nativity.
We also try to pick out an ornament for each person that represents something that reflects the year past. This year, the three men got fishing ornaments. I have not found a "special" ornament yet but I am on the hunt.
Our new tradition this year is started a "memories" tree that holds all of our ornaments from all of the places we have been. I love it! It means so much to us to be able to look at it and reminisce about our travels.
